ICOM UK, NMDC and York Museums Trust

ICOM-UK is the UK Committee of the International Council of Museums. The International Council Of Museums is the global organisation of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world’s natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible.

The National Museum Directors' Council (NMDC) represents the leaders of the UK's national and major regional museums.

York Museums Trust manages York Art Gallery, Yorkshire Museum, York Castle Museum, York Museum Gardens and York St. Marys. Their Mission is to cherish the collections, buildings and gardens entrusted to us, presenting and interpreting them as a stimulus for learning, a provocation to curiosity and a source of inspiration and enjoyment for all.
